The challenge
Great teachers change lives. The National Council on Teacher Quality (NCTQ) is on a mission to ensure every student has great teachers and every teacher has the support they need to thrive.
NCTQ publishes cutting-edge research and reports on teaching and learning. They called us because they wanted help boiling down reams of data and knowledge into a concise, actionable story for education and policy leaders.
The work
We developed group and individual trainings for NCTQ’s executive team, tailored to their unique skill development and content needs.
We took a four-part approach: an interactive workshop on communicating with purpose; real-life run-throughs to build muscle memory; individual mock interview practice; and a set of templates to define messages and prepare for future public engagements.

The results
Our media rollout with NCTQ received nearly four times the number of media mentions and double the number of report page views as the previous version of the same product.
NCTQ’s leadership reports that they still use Be Clear’s strategies and tools to distill and convey clear, compelling messages that resonate with their target audiences.
