Maelle Fonteneau

Director of Operations

Maelle Fonteneau is a leadership and career coach and HR consultant with nearly 20 years of experience supporting mission-driven organizations and leaders. She supports the Be Clear team on operations and people projects.

Outside of Be Clear, Maelle coaches impact driven leaders as a professionally certified coach, which she began 5 years ago. Previously, she served as the Vice President of People and Engagement at Turnaround for Children, where she developed policies and practices in the areas of recruitment, performance management, culture, and learning and development. Maelle began her career in direct service, supporting predominantly immigrant communities in legal services, early childhood education, and micro-lending. She calls New Jersey home and spends time outside of work parenting her two kids, leading PTA projects, and finding ways to build community and improve outcomes for children.
