Catrina Otonoga-Shaffer

Catrina Otonoga-Shaffer is a communications strategist with more than a decade of experience helping organizations navigate complex challenges, lead with values, build trust, and achieve their goals through thoughtful communications. 

As Strategic Communications Director at Be Clear, she works with clients to develop messaging, lead strategic communications campaigns, and support organizational goals through thoughtful custom built planning and strategy.  Her experience includes building national advocacy campaigns including the national Liberate Abortion campaign, navigating complex public affairs, stakeholder engagement, executive communications coaching, and strategic issue based management. 

Catrina holds a J.D. from Case Western Reserve University, School of Law and a Bachelor’s in Journalism and Public Affairs from The Ohio State University. She lives and adventures in Cleveland, Ohio with her husband, daughter, and Golden Retriever. Catrina knows that together, we can envision and build the world we dream of.
