As a native of Tulsa, Oklahoma, a city steeped in rich civil rights history, he became passionate about social justice work early in his life, igniting a lifelong commitment to integrating advocacy into his professional career at every level.

Tyler previously worked in private education, developing communications campaigns and spearheading initiatives championing diverse perspectives. Most recently, he worked as a creative producer in the advertising sphere, crafting global social media marketing campaigns that spotlight diverse voices nationwide.

Tyler enjoys painting, reading, and volunteering to strengthen local mutual aid initiatives in his free time. He and his wife proudly call Atlanta, GA, home.
