Kerry Leary
Senior Communications Associate

Kerry is an Emmy Award-winning storyteller and a communications professional who spent the first decade-plus of her career in journalism, working in newsrooms across the country. She worked for local NBC affiliates in Columbia, Missouri, Portland Maine, and Denver, Colorado. In Denver, she was recognized with a Regional Emmy Award for “Best Producer” and was on a team that won numerous Regional Edward R. Murrow Awards for “Excellence in Innovation,” after co-creating a newscast that broke the mold of your typical local news show.

She also spent time at MSNBC at 30 Rockefeller Plaza New York, where she produced newscasts, wrote scripts and commentaries, worked on breaking news and special coverage, and launched numerous national network shows, including “Inside with Jen Psaki.”

Kerry has a Bachelor of Journalism degree and a Master of Arts degree from the University of Missouri. She was born and raised in Colorado, and she’s very happy to be back in Denver, where she spends time volunteering, trying new restaurants, and getting up to the mountains as much as possible.
